The
Injection pump is one of the main Engine components to ensure an engine is running
efficiently and to its full capacity. Replacing the original CAV 3240F538
injection pumps. It also replaces Case IH OEM’s 3040869R92 and 3044494R2 Agriline
part number 8770 is suitable for Case IH tractors fitted with an International
BD-144 and BD-154 engine. These Pumps are manufactured with Quality and reliability
being the main objective, they are manufactured by one of the original Licensees
of Bosch, Lucas CAV / Delphi pumps.

Signs of a
failing injection pump can be identified if the engine is miss firing, wont
idle properly, poor starting, lack of power or excessive black smoke for the
exhaust. It is also worth checking the injectors if you have any of these issues.
The number one cause for a failing injection pump is down to dirty Fuel.
When
replacing the Injection pump, it is important to change the fuel filters and
blow out the fuel line to ensure there is nothing to contaminate the new
injection pump. These pumps are tested and set correctly in the factory, so you
fit the new pump knowing it has been calibrated for your engines specification.
