12.4-28 Tractor Tyre is an 8-ply farm tractor drive tyre, with deep tread dual angled lugs for high traction, self-cleaning and a long service life.
Cross-ply construction.
For Inner Tube use Agriline part code T-005.
Designed to fit a 28" diameter rim with 11" width, it is also suitable for rims 10" and 9" wide.
Fits Agriline Wheel Rim & Centre part code 2416.
Fits Agriline Wheel Rim Without Centre part code 2157.
Cross-ply is the way in which the tyre is constructed using interlocking cords which are layered across each other at a 45 degree angle, before being encased in the toughened rubber outer shell.
The 12.4-28 cross-ply tyre is a very popular rear tyre size and is found fitted to many Vintage and Classic Tractor applications such as the Ferguson TE Series, Fordson Dexta and Super Dexta, Ford 1000 Series, David Brown 700 and 800 Series and Case International B Series - they are lighter than radials, can be run at lower pressures without the sidewall deforming and they have good impact resistance.
